The Border Range operation is entirely self-contained and carefully quarantined to ensure the highest quality production. New Zealand Whites are bred and nurtured then humanely processed and packaged in a sterile abattoir on site.
The abattoir is one of the few licensed abattoirs in Australia for the processing of rabbit meat. Currently the abattoir and processing facility are undergoing technology revamps to ensure that Border Range remains at the forefront of the industry. Border Range also has onsite storage facilities.
Border Range is known globally for its standards in rabbit meat production. Our success in the international market is strongly linked to our quality control procedures while our ability to breed rabbits in a clean and 'green' environment is recognised around the world.
Border Range market research has identified substantial unsatisfied demand for quality rabbit in Australia, especially in the southern states and also in Asia, particularly in Japan and Korea.
